The differences between sheep wool and fine-spun wool mainly lie in the following aspects:

Source and Variety: Sheep wool comes from domesticated sheep, which adapt to temperate and cold climates; the fibers are coarser, soft to the touch but with a slight prickly sensation, making it suitable for making heavy clothing.

Sheep wool has a lower production cost and is more affordable, making it more suitable for everyday wear.

Fine-spun wool, on the other hand, comes from fine wool sheep, which mainly live in dry areas such as South America and Australia. The fibers are fine, long, and soft, providing a comfortable touch, suitable for making lightweight and smooth high-end clothing. Fine-spun wool has high requirements for yarn, resulting in higher production costs and prices, making it suitable for formal business occasions.

Sheep wool has good warmth retention and excellent elasticity; fine-spun wool, however, has good breathability, warmth retention, moisture absorption, and water resistance, but is prone to moth damage.
